In 1973, things took an unusual turn when she made history by becoming the nation's first female sports anchor at Channel 7 in Boston.
In 1982 a career change was in order and thus began her residential journey into real estate . After 37 years with Coldwell Banker having achieved numerous awards and over 100 million dollars in sales in Maine and New Hampshire, Barbara has happily joined the team at Verani Berkshire Hathaway. With unwavering dedication to her clients, she is the consummate real estate professional.
Barbara has always wanted to give back to the Seacoast community and has done so through her involvement with many non profits. After 4 years as Chairwoman of the NH Commission on the Arts, Barbara became a founding director of the Children's Museum, an advisory board member of NHPTV and an advocate for the UNH Women's Athletic program where was named to the Inaugural Hall of Honor in 1994.
